Hacienda Isabel Reviews

Reviews from social networks and other websites:

"This little coffee shop is so understated from the outside that you might miss it -- but don't miss it! When you open the doors and walk into Hacienda Isabel, you will find yourself in a different world -- tasteful, upscale, and elegant. Choose the charming table by the window and order a latte. The brunch menu has a number of simple yet delicious dishes. I tried the house omelette and was not disappointed. The owner is friendly and worldly. He is a great conversationalist and source of information for things to do while in Old San Juan." -aZaredgreen (from TripAdvisor)

"Found this great little jewel on a Saturday afternoon and visited 3 more times during our stay in San Juan. The coffee, latte's and tea were exceptional. We bought several bags of Hacienda Isabel Coffee to take back to the states, not only for ourselves but to share this wonderful coffee with other. Take a well deserved quiet respite when visiting San Juan, and make the effort to visit this jewel. You won't regret it." -DeeDeeS1964 (from TripAdvisor)

"Stopped in with BF after a full day of site seeing and shopping. The lattes were the best we have had in PR. A clean, quiet, and comfy place to relax and regroup for more Old San Juan fun!" -1coffeeplease (from TripAdvisor)

"Stopped here after a Christmas shopping spree on Cristo Street (Coach OutletStore). The coffee was to die for, great service, Puerto Rican Christmas music was playing, and I just didn't want leave. It was like being in the living room of a PR country home 50 years ago." -maerose (from TripAdvisor)

"The coffee comes from their own Puerto Rican coffee plantations, where they oversee every step of the process which results in a wonderful cup of coffee." -Contributor (from TripAdvisor)

"AMAZING coffee ... That's when the good part started—kicked off a conversation. Isabel is a 3rd generation coffee grower; they grown their own coffee, roast it, sell it, and brew it. And, it is REALLY good. I like coffee and cream in my coffee and I had a "cortadito" (milk but no sugar). The coffee is so good, it would be a sin to add sugar to it." -JRTirso (from TripAdvisor)

"If you like a bold cup of coffee without the bitterness, do stop in at Hacienda Isabel. As others have written, it's a beautiful haven! The owners are rightly proud of their single-sourced, Puerto Rican Arabica beans from their 100 acre plantation. I went back twice." -LeadingWomen (from TripAdvisor)
